White Squirrel Weekend Craft & Retail Vendor Information

Join us for White Squirrel Weekend 2023! The beloved event combines a stellar live music line-up, a smorgasbord of tasty offerings from vendors and local craft breweries, plus fun activities for the entire family into one fantastic event. This year’s event will kick off the evening of Friday, May 26th and run through Sunday, May 28th.

When is White Squirrel Weekend?

White Squirrel Weekend is on May 26th-28th, 2023. The event kicks off the evening of May 26th with live music on the E. Main Street stage, food vendors and our beer garden.

The event continues Saturday, May 27th-Sunday, May 28th with more live music and food vendors. Additional downtown streets will be closed to allow for craft and retail vendors, nonprofit vendors and more.

Who can participate?

Everyone is encouraged to apply. Selected vendors are based on, but not limited to, the following criteria:

  • Our desire to offer a diverse, quality assortment of food/craft and retail options.
  • Rotation of previous vendors with new vendors to allow someone new an opportunity to vend as well as new options for our festival patrons.
  • Your previous history with us – previous participation in Heart of Brevard events does not guarantee a space in future festivals.

How do I apply?

Submit your White Squirrel Weekend Vendor Application and nonrefundable $30 fee no later than March 10th. Application fees paid online are $5 more to cover processing fees. Payments not received by deadline are subject to a $50 late fee.

Pending receipt of all application materials listed above, HOB will approve or deny each vendor. Accepted applicants will receive additional event details and payment schedule.

How much does it cost?

VENDOR APPLICATION FEE PAYMENT

Vendor application fees must be paid in full online or by check by deadline.

1. Online payments can be made via Square. A link will be sent to you in your confirmation email upon submitting your application. Online application fees are $35 to cover fees. Payments not received by deadline are subject to a $50 late fee.

2. If paying by check, make checks payable to Heart of Brevard, put the event name in the memo line.

VENDOR BOOTH FEES 

Accepted vendors will receive information on the booth fee payment schedule. White Squirrel Booth Fees are $225 for a 10×10 space.

THINK LOCAL FEES FOR LOCAL VENDORS 

NEW THIS YEAR! If you are a local vendor, booth fees are $150 for a 10×10 space. To receive the local vendor rate vendors must provide proof of residency in Transylvania County.

Does Heart of Brevard provide electricity for vendors?

Heart of Brevard does not provide electricity. Please note, vendors with Whisper Generators are given priority event placement.
