SATURDAY STROLL: DOWNTOWN OPEN HOUSE
What is Saturday Stroll?
I’m a downtown business owner, how can my business participate?
This event isn’t just for art galleries! All Heart of Brevard businesses are encouraged to participate in this monthly stroll and open house. here is no fee to participate, however participating businesses are required to register for the full series. Participating businesses will be featured on Saturday Stroll website,map,social media and newsletters. We will also feature participants in a variety of print and social media ads over the series. We encourage businesses to get creative and collaborate with a local artist to highlight arts and culture, offer special promotions, live music or refreshments.

Participating Businesses and Special Offer for July’s Saturday Stroll
Offering special seasonal baked goods and coffee specials.
Brevard Clay will be hosting a free community paint in front of the shop, from 10am-2pm.
The Visitor Center will give out Explore Brevard stickers to all Saturday Strollers. They also have public restrooms.
Connestee Falls Realty will be hosting artist Cynthia White Rehm and will have wine and snacks.
Featuring their summer seasonal drink, cherry limeade!
Providing 10% off of parts and accessories and merchandise for people who bike to downtown or use their bike rack. The 10% does not apply to bikes or labor.
Highland Books will be hosting a book signing by author Rosemarie Knoll during July’s Saturday Stroll. Knoll’s books, Wildflowers of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest and Wildflowers and Waterfalls of DuPont State Forest are a beautiful reference guide for beginning and advanced naturalists alike. Stop by the store to meet Rosemarie between 3:00-5:00pm. Highland Books will be open from 10am to 8pm on Saturday with signed copies of the book available.

Meryl Lefkovich, Acrylic Painter will be doing a demo from 12-4 and Mark and Sally Wingate will be playing from 12-3!
Main Street Ltd. is offering complimentary wine sampling between 2-5pm.
Number 7 Arts will be staying open until 6pm and will be hosting two artist demonstrations.
12pm-2pm Brenda Cameron, Fiber artist, best known for her handwoven and felted wearable art, will demonstrate the processes in making her most recent work, “wool paintings”.
12pm-2pm Angela Maddix will be demonstrating her wire work.
On Saturday, July 31, Paper + Wood will have free refreshments, 10% off storewide (except shadow boxes) and open studio time in the gathering space so folks can create their own bookmarks.
Pisgah Health Foundation has an extensive Art collection here by Charles Johnson Post. Visitors may view the collection while they enjoy snacks and drinks. They will have complimentary Blue Zones swag and guests may also enter a drawing to win a Blue Zones wine & gift pack.
