[...] Anyway, back on track here. One of our recent favorite places to go is a great little town in North Carolina called Brevard. Eli’s parents both went to college there which is neat… they have a great homey atmosphere… and it’s just a comfortable place to be. For us it’s about an hour drive through some really pretty mountains, so we are usually eager to go up there. As a matter of fact, we were just talking today about how much we want to go back even though we were just there a couple weeks ago. Brevard, for those who don’t know, is also home to the white squirrels… they’re quite the little celebrities up there. Legend has it that they originated from a circus truck and wound up breeding.
